  1. The Competition

2.1 The title of the competition is the “A New Year Treat”.
2.2 The Competition gives every eligible prebooked diner at Wells & Co managed houses one scratch card per visit for the chance to win a Prize.
2.3 Everyone who receives a scratch card wins a Prize. No “losing” outcomes exist.
2.4 The type of Prize awarded is printed on the scratch card and depends on availability at the time of redemption.

2.5 Prizes can be redeemed at any Wells & Co managed house as listed on the page linked below, excluding Quill & Cup.

2.6 Winning scratch cards must be presented at time or ordering.

2.7 The total number of Prizes available is 52,250

  1. Eligibility

3.1 The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of Wells & Co.;
(b) anyone professionally connected with the organisation of the Competition; and
(c) close relatives of those listed above.

3.2 By participating, you confirm that you are eligible to claim any Prize won. Wells & Co may require proof of eligibility.
3.3 Wells & Co will not accept entries that are fraudulent, bulk-collected, or not obtained directly through dining at Wells & Co managed houses.
3.4 Wells & Co reserves the right to disqualify entrants whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the Competition.

  1. How to Play
  • Prebook a table and dine in at any Wells & Co Managed House between 26th November and 4th January
  • Each diner will receive one scratch card per visit (subject to availability).
  • Scratch the panel to reveal your prize.
  • Return winning scratch cards to a Wells & Co managed house between 5th -29th January 2026 to claim your prize.
  1. The Prizes

5.1 Prizes consist of the following:

  • A Drink On Us (34,000 available)
    • 125ml house prosecco
    • 175ml glass of house wine
    • Pint of Brewpoint Supernova, Anchorman, Genesis, Lodestar or Foghorn
    • 16oz Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, Schweppes Lemonade
  • Dessert On Us (13,000 available)
    • One standard menu dessert excluding:

  • 50% Off Your Bill (4750 available)

    • Prebooked tables only
    • Max table size: six guests
    • Each guest must order a minimum of one main course to qualify for voucher use.
    • Cannot be used with with any other discount or offer.

  • Dinner On Us (500 available)
    • Max £100 value
    • Max table size: 4 guests
    • Prebooked tables only
    • Each guest must order a minimum of one main course to qualify for voucher use.
    • Cannot be used with with any other discount or offer.

5.2 All Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash or credit alternative.
5.3 Wells & Co reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
5.4 Prizes are not transferable and may not be claimed by a third party on a Winner’s behalf.
5.5 Wells & Co decision is final in all matters relating to the Competition.

  1. Claiming a Prize

6.1 Winners will discover their Prize instantly by scratching the card panel.
6.2 To use the Prize, winners must present a winning scratch card at time or order.
6.3 Vouchers and discounts must be redeemed in Wells & Co managed houses between 5th-29th January 2026
6.4 Wells & Co is not responsible if a Prize cannot be redeemed due to the Winner’s circumstances.

  1. Publicity

7.1 Wells & Co may request that Prize winners take part in publicity. By entering, you agree that your name, county, and association with the Competition may be used for PR purposes, unless you object by contacting marketing@wellsandco.com

  1. Limitation of liability

8.1 Insofar as permitted by law, Wells & Co and its agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of accepting or using a Prize, except where caused by negligence. Statutory rights are not affected.

10.1 Wells & Co reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition if necessary.
10.2 The Competition and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
