The Gordon Arms raises the bar in Bedford with brand-new look

One of Bedford’s favourite neighbourhood pubs, The Gordon Arms, is set to make its return when it reopens its doors in August following a complete refurbishment. Located on Castle Road, the Wells & Co managed pub is thrilled to be able to welcome guests back in time to enjoy the last of the summer sun in its newly improved beer garden.

The Gordon Arms will provide a community hub for the people of Bedford's Castle Quarter
who have waited so long for the doors to reopen, holding weekly events such as networking lunches and coffee mornings as well as running weekly quizzes and hosting fundraising events.

The well-known and loved Ent Shed has been given new life and will reopen to keep guests entertained with regular live music acts and will also double up as a hireable events and private party space.

As well as the brand-new brick pizza oven taking centre stage in the pub, the food menu will include dirty burgers in pretzel buns, posh kebabs in flatbread, loaded nachos and grazing boards which are perfect to share with friends.

The reopening of the pub will also introduce locals to the craft beer and ale range from Wells & Co.’s popular brewing facility across town, Brewpoint. The drinks list will also include a tempting range of wines, craft gins and ciders.

Just a short walk from Bedford town centre, The Gordon Arms’ stylish make-over and
renovated beer garden makes it the perfect place to enjoy local entertainment and hang out with your friends and family while drinking top-quality beer and tucking into great food.

Those in the local area will be offered free drinks voucher leaflets in the opening week to join the celebrations of the reopening of The Gordon Arms and see its brand-new look.
